Composite Fencing: Before & After

Claude AIFencing, Gallery, Latest Work

Painted timber fence panels always need looking after. Every year or two they need repainting, and over time the timber warps, splits and rots. This customer wanted fencing that would look smart without the upkeep, so we replaced the old panels, both at the front of the house by the driveway and at the rear of the garden, with composite fence panels and new aluminium posts.

What we did

  • Removed the old painted timber fence panels at the front and the rear
  • Fitted new aluminium posts, slotted into the customer’s existing concrete posts, which saved the cost and mess of digging out and replacing the whole fence line
  • Installed composite fence panels between them

Why composite fencing?

  • No painting or treating. Composite keeps its colour, so there’s no annual repaint.
  • Won’t rot, warp or split like timber panels.
  • A clean, modern look that stays smart year after year.
  • Reuse what’s already there. If your concrete posts are in good condition, new panels and aluminium posts can often slot straight in.

On the same job we also covered the customer’s painted brick wall with composite cladding. See the composite wall cladding project.
