Our garden design and landscaping process

Whether it’s a new patio or a complete garden makeover, every project follows the same simple steps, so you always know what’s happening and what it will cost.

1. Consultation

We talk through what you need, the style you like and how you want to use the space, and look at any practical challenges such as slopes, drainage or access.

2. Estimate

We give you an estimate and a timescale for the work. For bigger projects we can also put together a design brief.

3. Design visuals

If it’s helpful, we create design visuals of your new garden, so you can see how it will look before any work starts and ask for changes. See an example in our two-level garden makeover, which shows the visuals alongside the finished garden.

4. Agreement

Once you’re happy with the design, we confirm a fixed price and book you in.

Done properly

• Solid sub-bases, full mortar beds under every slab, and level, well-supported deck frames
• Trusted materials, or we can fit materials you’ve sourced yourself
• Public liability insurance on every job
• If anything goes wrong because of our workmanship, we’ll come back and fix it
